Diane Vohs,
Practice Administrator
I started working for Ponderosa Family Care on 09/01/2010, my position at the time was medical billing, overtime as the practice grew, my position and responsibilities grew to include business management, credentialing, and employee management. In the past couple of years my title changed to practice administrator/ billing representative, which includes working day to day assisting the current office manager, (Tara Bowen) The practice was split between private practice and what is now our Rural Health clinic. The RHC brings many benefits to our community for patients, including the inception of Behavioral Health providers which was introduced into our clinic in 2021. The RHC allows the clinic to provide multiple providers to assist in helping the patients in our area and the surrounding areas where providers are limited, we have the capabilities of doing telemedicine and provide home visits for those patients who lack the capabilities to come into a clinic.
I enjoy working with the staff, solving issues, and celebrating milestones. The accomplishments that Ponderosa Family Care have made, is due to teamwork by all staff, the CEO Alan P Michels, MD has gone the extra mile always in recognizing his team and their ongoing efforts, especially through the past 2 ½ years of the pandemic. Ponderosa Family Care was an integral part of providing healthcare during the first stages of the pandemic, providing covid 19 testing and shots along with normal day to day patient visits.

Cat Youngblood,
Clinic Coordinator – Behavioral Health Services
Many of you may know me as Cat. I am a licensed bachelor’s level social worker currently working towards my masters in social work planning to graduate in December 2023. I have worked in the medical field in many capacities since 2020. Prior to that I owned a large childcare center in the Pacific Northwest for 4 years. I was also a manager of a childcare center for 4 years before that. Growing up, my home was a licensed foster home in two different states so when I was old enough to become a licensed foster home as a young adult it felt like the natural thing to do. My husband and I were licensed foster parents for 3 years, and I also was a recruitment peer mentor for foster parents during that time. We grew our family to five beautiful children both biologically and through adoption. We live in a multigenerational home with my mom, my biological adult brother, and five of my adopted siblings. I am passionate about growing communities that allow individuals to feel safe enough to be who they were meant to be. Ponderosa Family Care is an asset to Rim Country by providing whole person care and promoting whole person wellbeing. I am excited to be a part of the growing services at PFC to provide the best of care regardless of where.
