MOPHEUS 8V
This treatment provides an intravaginal treatment similar to FormaV mentioned above. This is a more aggressive approach to more severe feminine health concerns. This treatment uses radiofrequency along with microneedling to vaginal tissue both inside and outside.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A typical treatment plan begins with a consultation and a visit with Dr A Michels to evaluate your condition.
During your visit, your provider can discuss your symptoms, medical history goals, and whether FormaV, VTone or Morpheus8V, or another approach is appropriate.
WHAT IS FORMA V: Supporting vaginal tissue wellness
FORMA V is an internal radiofrequency treatment designed to deliver controlled RF energy to the vaginal tissue (both inside the vagina and on the external genitalia)
The gentle heating produced by RF energy is intended to support
- Collagen remodeling
- Tissue elasticity
- Local circulation
- Tissue tone and firmness
- Overall vaginal tissue wellness
WHAT DOES FORMA V TREATMENT FEEL LIKE?
Forma V is designed to be a comfortable, non-surgical treatment. The treatment applicator is gently placed internally, and controlled RF energy is delivered to the treatment areas.
Patients commonly describe the sensation as a gentle warming feeling.
Treatment time is generally short (approximately 30-45 minutes) and there is typically little to no downtime. You will be given post-treatment instructions
These treatments are done in 3 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. This is to allow the collagen to rebuild and tissue to recover.
V-TONE: PELVIC FLOOR MUSCLE CONDITIONING
While Forma V focuses on vaginal tissue, V-TONE takes a different approach by targeting the pelvic floor muscles.
V-Tone uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to produce controlled contractions of the pelvic floor muscles.
Think of it as a technology-assisted approach to pelvic floor muscle conditioning.
The pelvic floor muscles play an important role in
- Bladder control
- Core and pelvic stability
- Sexual function
- Supporting pelvic organs
This can be combined and usually is with the Forma V treatments & can be combined with Morpheus 8V.
Treatment usually is about 30 minutes. Treatments are 6 , spaced 1 week apart.
Morpheus 8V
This treatment combines radiofrequency along with microneedling of the inside of the vagina and outside areas. This is performed by a physician. This treatment is for more complex pelvic floor issues including, bladder incontinence, rectal prolapse and lichen sclerosis.
For this treatment the vaginal canal and outside genitalia are numbed with a lidocaine/tetracaine ointment which is left in place for 45 minutes. Treatment is usually approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Minimal downtime.
