I moved to Arizona in High School and it became home. Physician Assistant is my second career but from my teenage days as a Lifeguard until now I have always found joy in caring for people. I spent the first 10 years of my professional career as a High School Teacher and Athletic Trainer. As a Certified Athletic Trainer my job was to provide medical care for the prevention and treatment of injuries of the high school athletes. I transitioned into Physician Assistant providing more medical care in 2010. In my 10 years as a PA I have worked in Orthopedic Sports Medicine, Pediatric Fractures, Emergency Medicine, Physical Medicine (Spine and Pain management) and in Work Comp / Industrial Medicine and Family Medicine. A few years ago I felt the call to work in Rural Medicine. I thought of the little town of Payson where I had worked in the Emergency Department. I feel like God called me back and I am happy and excited to provide care for the members of this wonderful community and the surrounding areas.
When I am not working you’ll probably find me enjoying the outdoors hiking, fishing, on a side by side, with some horses, basically enjoying everything a place like Payson has to offer. I am a proud mother to two sons and a few dogs and horses.
